We are a family owned and operated ice cream shop specializing in churning unique, seasonal, and creative ice creams. We are also known for quality, show-stopping custom ice cream cakes. Our ideal candidate is passionate about creative cake decorating, has long term ambitions to grow with our company, and is a professional in every sense of the word

Compensation: $17-$20/hour + tips

Minimum Requirements

A cake decorator with at least 2 years professional decorating experience

OR

A candidate with a pastry or culinary education and 6 month internship

​

-Fluent in Microsoft Word

-Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, and understand the written and spoken English language

-Ability to stand for up to 6 hours at a time, bend over, reach overhead, lift up to 25 pounds

-Piping skills: writing and piping buttercream flowers

-Can follow written recipes, understands weights and measuring units

Job Description

Basic tasks and skills include but are not limited to:

Ability to work cooperatively with others.

Ability to work with top 8 allergens without allergic reactions (specifically dairy, wheat, peanuts, tree nuts).

Exhibit professional etiquette with customers over the phone and in-person

Clearly and accurately document and execute customer’s design requests.

Has the ability to perform repetitive tasks which include precise continuous movement of the arms and shoulder, wrist, hands, and fingers (such as frosting 15-20 cakes back to back)

Maintain inventory of cakes, dry goods, and materials associated with cake production

Ability to prioritize and manage incoming orders, in addition to maintaining par stock of readily available cakes

Works with a sense of urgency without compromising quality.

Can adapt to varying workloads

Handle ingredients according to FIFO principles, time and temperature control, and follow all health department guidelines

Maintain a clean workspace and uniform at all times
