Overview:
Beloved Morris County ice cream shop seeking a Store Manager! Our ideal candidate has a passion for quality food, creativity, and a strong desire to learn. Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, structure and motivation to our team
- Supervise all staff hiring, training, and performance management
- Coordinate staffing needs to ensure optimal coverage during peak hours
- Address and resolve all issues that arise from staff
- Ensure all guests receive a high level of service that is consistent with our reputation. Address and resolve any guest complaints effectively.
- Monitor portions, presentation, and menu item consistency
-Conduct regular inspections of freezer temperatures, equipment, and lobby area
-Oversee daily financial transactions and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed
-Enforce compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene standards
-Verify the store is opened and/or closed as per established standards
-Maintain and report inventory to VP, execute Restaurant Depot pickups, coordinate wholesale order pickups
-Additional store manager duties as needed
Requirements:
- Proven successful experience as a manager or supervisor in a food establishment with a minimum of 3 years in the role
- Focus on quality, precision, and the ability to remain positive in sometimes stressful working conditions
-Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve common goals using effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Engage in constant face-to-face interactions with team members and guests
- Knowledge of retail math principles for pricing, margins, and profit analysis
-Continuous standing and walking throughout the duration of each shift. Bending, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds to perform duties like stocking, receiving deliveries, replacing ice cream, or taking out trash
-Exceptional phone etiquette
-Fluent in the English language, both verbal and written
-Valid ServSafe or Food Handler's License

Pay: $48,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
